52 Ancestors 2015 #34 Non Population Schedules

Week 34 (August 20-26) – Non-Population: While we’re on the
subject of special census schedules, have you found an ancestor
on a non-population census — agriculture, industry,
manufactures, or 1890 Union veterans? Tell us about him or her.

None of my Civil War ancestors survived until 1890 – but there were plenty of farmers. I don’t have access to the census’ now, but I did find John Milton Roberts of Wesley Maine in the 1900 census as a farmer – as well as Louis Fremont Lougee in the Connecticut Military Census of 1917.

I will revisit this one when I have a renewed membership and can access the files.
